Penggerak membership gives you the right to attend the Penggerak Malaysia Annual Convention, learn about Penggerak Malaysia Human Rights School of thought and requesting human rights services provided by the organisation. As a member, you can also request to be trained as volunteers and activists. It is important to become a member if you are interested in getting involved with the governance of the community, or to eventually serve a position in the community. However, a membership fee is to be paid, depending on your membership category. To be beocme a Volunteer on the other hand, you have to first becoming a member. Volunteer assist Penggerak Malaysia in carrying out its human rights work. Volunteers assist in various ways, helping out in the administrative work at the Penggerak Malaysia and during events and conventions.

Yes, as long as you are at least eighteen (18) years of age become a memeber and abide by the objectives of Penggerak Malaysia School of Thoughts. Any persons irrespective of race, religion, gender or nationality will be considered.

Your application will be reviewed and is subject to final approval from Penggerak Malaysia. We reserve the right to accept or reject any volunteer registration. Opportunities to volunteer will depend on the missions that are available and the necessary skill sets required to support those missions and programmes. Allocation of resources and personnel will be driven on a needs-basis, and as such we require your understanding on the matter.

Our obligation to you as a volunteer is to ensure that you share our vision and mission, and understand the objectives of Penggerak Malaysia and the aim of our programmes. We do this by conducting induction programmes for our volunteers on a regular basis, and to organise training programmes to ensure a level of professionalism in our volunteers before any deployment.

Your application will be reviewed and is subject to final approval from the Presidential Council of Penggerak Malaysia. Please note that the Presidential Council reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application without assigning any reason whatsoever.
